What is a DoctorDeck
three-stage treatment?
Firstly, the affected areas are treated with our first line solution to lift and loosen the often slippery, slimy top layer of the algae, which typically is what turns your decking or patio green.
We then use specialist pressure washing equipment to clear and rinse away the grime before spraying the affected area with our protective barrier solution which inhibits regrowth.

What to expect
Your outdoor area will look better straight away, but it will look even better over time.
Typically our first line treatment is put down in the morning and left for 30 minutes while our equipment is set up.
The top layer of algae and mud is then agitated with a water-fed brush system before being pressure washed.
Once the area is dry (typically 24 / 48 hours later, depending on the weather), the protective barrier solution is put down.
It can take up to a month for moss to die off at the root, while algae staining and dark spots can take up to 3 months to fade away.
